If you would like to provide a meal for one of our families, please email: info@circlesashland.org

We would love to partner with you if you wish to provide a meal, or part of a meal, one Thursday evening.

Every Thursday we serve nutritionally-balanced meals to our guests, free of charge. For many families, it is one meal they do not have to worry about putting on the table.

We serve dinner at 5:30 pm at Duncan United Methodist Church to 35-40 guests. If you would like to help provide a full meal or a part of a meal, please read the FAQ below and contact us for more details.

Some examples of groups who’ve partnered with us include:

  • Families

  • Businesses

  • Fraternities/Sororities

  • Sunday school Groups

  • Neighborhood Groups

  • Sports Teams

  • Book Groups

  • Garden Clubs

WHAT ABOUT COVID?

Our COVID Protocols can be viewed here.

HOW MANY PEOPLE NEED TO BE FED?

We typically serve 35-40 guests.

WHAT DOES MY GROUP NEED TO BRING?

Our meal providers bring a main course, one or two sides (including salad), fruit, dessert and often bread.

There are a few gluten free vegetarians. If the providers prefer us to have that option available, our kitchen team is happy to do so.

There have been small groups who prefer to prepare a portion of these items and we then pair another group to provide the balance.

HOW SHOULD WE PROVIDE FOOD?

Food is usually prepared (or purchased) offsite but can be warmed or assembled at Duncan UMC. There are 4 or 5 kitchen volunteers who arrive by 4 pm and can certainly help with chopping, slicing and assembly.

WHAT DOES CIRCLES ASHLAND PROVIDE?

All the plates, utensils and cups are provided, and we only serve water to drink.

WHAT TIME SHOULD WE ARRIVE?

Dinner served at 5:30 pm Thursday evenings.

Please arrive with meal as early 4:00 for dinner warming, assembly and set up.
